Luma Character Sheet alternative for consistent AI video

Luma Character Sheet turns your references into one consistent sheet you can keep working from. This page compares that feature with a downloadable character turnaround sheet, then shows how to use the views as the reference anchor for AI video.

If later shots should stay the same person, decide the reference set once and reuse it. Luma builds one multi-view sheet inside Luma from your references or a written design. This site is a library of finished packs: download the turnaround sheet and the separate front, side and back views, then upload that same set in the video tool you already use.

Checked against Luma's official posts and the Character Sheet page on November 4, 2026. This site has not filmed a test of the feature. The how-to below is for a downloaded turnaround sheet in a video tool that accepts reference images.

  • The page shows a Reference images control, sheet presets counted 0/8, an optional Character directions field, and examples that start from a source image.
  • Those sources do not state a price, an output size, how many reference images are accepted, or which video model reads the sheet. This page leaves those out.

What this site provides

Character Turnaround is a library of character packs, not an in-browser tool that merges photos you upload into a sheet. A published pack includes the three views on one sheet, separate front, side and back files, a full-body reference, a work outfit, a prop, a scene, expressions, poses and video starters. You download the files and use them in your own AI video tool.

Use a turnaround sheet as the reference anchor

Treat one approved set of views as the anchor. Later shots reuse that set. A newly generated frame does not replace it.

  1. Pick a character whose job fits the video. Browse the library, or start from a free pack.
  2. Download the pack. Keep 01_character_reference/model_sheet.png as the one-image overview. In a video tool, upload 02_turnaround_views/view_front.png, view_side.png and view_back.png as separate references. The full-body file is 01_character_reference/full_body.png.
  3. Use that same set on every later shot. The character-to-video guides give each file one role in the prompt.
  4. Reuse one short description of the face, hair, outfit and colors. The consistency guide and the prompt templates show a wording you can paste.
  5. Open the guide for the video tool you use, generate one short shot, and check the face, hair and outfit before you make a sequence.

Using both

You can make a sheet in Luma and keep working from it there. When a video tool wants one angle per image, a pack that already splits the front, the side and the back is the matching file set. Either set can be the anchor, as long as later shots keep using it.

Questions

What is Luma Character Sheet?
On November 4, 2026, Luma's official account said Character Sheet "turns your references into one consistent sheet you can keep working from." The Character Sheet page says it creates "a consistent multi-view character sheet from references or a written design."
What is a Luma Character Sheet alternative for consistent AI video?
A turnaround sheet from this library is an alternative for that job: you start from a finished character instead of building the sheet inside Luma, then reuse the front, side and back views as the reference anchor. It is a downloadable pack, not an in-browser generator that merges photos you upload, and it is not a copy of Luma's feature.
How do I use an AI character sheet for consistent video?
Download a pack, upload the separate front, side and back views, keep the one-image turnaround sheet as your overview, and reuse one description. Then follow the character-to-video guide for your tool and test one short shot before a sequence.
Should I upload one character sheet or separate views?
Luma's published description is one multi-view sheet. This site's video guides upload the separate front, side and back files and keep the combined sheet as the overview. Use the form your tool accepts, and keep that same set for later shots.
Can I use a turnaround sheet as a reference in Luma Character Sheet?
Luma's page creates the sheet from references or a written design, and it shows a reference-images control. A turnaround sheet is an image, so it matches the kind of input the page names. The sources checked on November 4, 2026 do not state a file type, a size or a view count.
What does Luma Character Sheet cost, and what are its limits?
The November 4, 2026 posts and the Character Sheet page do not state a price, an output size, how many reference images are accepted, or which video model reads the sheet. This page does not add those numbers.
